About Stevie
Introducing Stevie, an exceptionally sweet and gentle 6-month-old Seal Point Ragdoll kitten, with the most heartwarming personality you'll ever encounter. This little cuddle bug is not only a total lap cat but also radiates affection and warmth. With her calm and gentle nature, Stevie has so much love to offer, making her a perfect fit for a nurturing home.
Despite being blind due to a condition called microphthalmia, Stevie is a true explorer at heart and navigates her way around like a seasoned pro. Her adventurous spirit shines through as she mischievously chases toys that make sounds, relying on her acute sense of hearing. Stevie's resilience, intelligence, and adaptability are truly inspiring, allowing her to live life to the fullest, regardless of her special needs.
Stevie gets along well with other household cats and dogs, blending into family life effortlessly. Her sociable and amiable nature ensures delightful interactions with her furry friends. She will thrive in a home where she can enjoy regular monitoring of her heart condition, which she handles with the same grace as everything else in her life.
With Stevie, you will have a devoted companion who fills your days with warmth and love. Her unique charm and joyful purity are sure to brighten your home and enrich your life in ways only she can. Could you be the perfect match for Stevie, offering her the safe and loving environment she truly deserves?
Medical notes
Stevie was born with a condition called Micropthalmia. This is a problem with the development of the eyes resulting in abnormally small eyes, often without vision. This leads to secondary changes in the eye that are often painful eg uveitis (inflammation of the middle layer of the eye), and overtime eyes shrink further. Due to this condition being painful and Stevie's lack of vision, enucleation was recommened (removal of the eyes).
Stevie also has a congenital heart condition. She has a ventricular septal defect (A hole in her heart present from birth). This may close once she is fully grown, or remain as it is. Based on current Echocardiogram (Heart ultrasound) it appears it may not effect her life or life span, however a repeat ultrasound every few years is required.
Dr Darron Ho from All Hearts Veterinary Mobile Veterinary Cardiology has so kindly offered a 50% off discount for Stevie's next heart ultrasound.
