About Spice
Meet Spice, an exuberant and fun-loving male Chihuahua x Kelpie born on 3 December 2024.
A spirited little dog, Spice has settled into his busy rural foster home and shows all signs of being a delightfully fun-loving and confident playmate for some lucky family or person.
And he just loves kids! His foster parents recently hosted a 10th birthday party for one of their children and Spice was absolutely in his element. He played happily for hours with the young guests and when the pinatas came out, he joined in the fun. He's one tireless and entertaining playmate.
When it's not party time, he's happy to sniff his way around the yard, play with his canine mates and generally keep a sharp eye on the environment around him. Spice is a well-balanced, low-maintenance chap who would easily adapt to most homes where there's a bit of space to play and kids or another dog to play with.
He is definitely not clingy, anxious or demanding. He takes his job as family watchdog seriously, but only barks when appropriate.
He is house-trained, but his recall requires further work. Being just a pup - and a busy one at that - he's easily distracted by the wonderful world around him.
Spice loves other dogs and is happy to ignore cattle and horses. He likes to chase the resident cats if they run across his yard, but is not interested in hurting them.
If you'd like to express interest in this lively pup, please submit an online application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/
As always, secure fencing is essential.
