Koga has come a very long way since the moment he got into care. He used to be a very shy boy and the world was sometimes way too scary for him. With time and love he has let his beautiful personality shine and now he is the heart of the party most of the time 💕.
Koga loves everyone and everything. He really likes cats, he loves dogs, he really enjoys food, he overjoys every time it's time to play fetch and he is especially passionate about people. Koga will greet everyone on the streets with a joyful tail wag and he will get a little confused every time a person doesn't want to be his friend, he will insists on making friends with the cats even though they don't feel the same way about him 😅(dog savvy cats would be preferable or cats that know how to establish boundaries), he will wait for dog friends at the park to play with them, and he loves getting pats and playing with kids.
Koga is toilet trained, he is happy to be in his crate if needed (or if he needs a break from the world), and he is learning his commands. He has already mastered his 'sit' and 'shake' and he is practising his 'down' and 'stay' very hard. He is very food oriented so very easy to train. He is a very gentle boy when approaching people, however, he does not really comprehend his size and he has a lot of energy when playing so he can sometimes be a little too much for some dogs (specially small dogs). He is getting better on walking on lead every day, he really enjoys going on walks and he also prefers playing fetch while in big spaces so he can really run for that ball.
Koga is working on his separation anxiety, to call it something, he is a puppy so he just does not really like staying home alone. For this reason, he would be the happiest with a person who is home more time than not or in the company of another dog who matches his energy. Being a puppy, he will also require a person that is willing to dedicate time and patience to train him and teach him all the ways of life. He is happy to go for 1 long walk + play a day, and he just loves to be around his people (and follow them everywhere to make sure they are ok 👀) for the rest of the day. He is also the best cuddler in the planet and he will never deny you kisses or cuddles when you need them.
Koga is overall the perfect little guy and he is now ready to find the perfect home he deserves ❤️.
