About Wassabi - Now at PET Quarters Broadmeadow
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Wasabi takes a little time to relax and trust his human but once he does you are rewarded with an amazing purring machine who is super affectionate.
My Ideal Home:
Wasabi will enjoy the company of submissive cat (s). He is not used to being in a busy human-centric household but will make a fine companion for a quiet couple or single. He is quite food motivated, perhaps a little bit too much and will benefit from enrichment toys that allow him to exercise and loose a little weight. He love love loves being brushed and would enjoy someone who is willing to give his silvery dense coat a daily groom. You will be rewarded with a purring motor that knows no bounds.
What is Known About My Background:
Wasabi has spent his short life to date in the company of his extended family, brothers, sisters, Mum and Dad until the breeding cycle got out of hand. The large numbers of cats were surrendered to the Pound in late 2024 and while Wasabi quickly found a new home with his father, sadly as a dominant male the two didn't get on in their new home and he was returned to the Pound. Since returning to the Pound, he shared an enclosure with his brother Sumac and they coexisted beautifully.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
While tested with other cats, he has not been tested with dogs or children. He will likely hide in a household with small children whose hands seek to grab and pet him or chase him. He will be an indoor-only cat to protect the environment and ensure he lives a long and healthy life.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
