Buddy is an absolute joy to be around! He's got such a playful and loving personality, and it’s has a positive impact anyone’s life. His goofy, derpy nature and love for cuddles make him so endearing. He brightens up any room he’s in with his infectious energy!

Hi, I am Buddy’s Foster Guardian.
Buddy came to me from a rural pound in early October 2024
At this time Buddy was about 18 months old and still a puppy.
He was a bit unsure but very outgoing from the start.

At some point Buddy had been shown attention, he could already sit and shake.

💖 Buddy quickly settled in and got along very well with my best friend, a 10 year old Boxer Cross.

• Buddy is the most lovable, space invading goofy and derpy cheeky little chunky man I have met. Derpy is a dog with a unique and characteristic facial expression that gives the impression of being silly or clumsy. These dogs are often beloved for their endearing appearance and lovable personalities.

• One of the defining characteristics of derpy dogs is their ability to make people laugh and brighten their day. Whether it’s through their awkward poses or silly antics, derpy dogs have a way of bringing joy to those around them. Their playful and carefree nature is infectious and can instantly lift one’s spirits.

• Buddy has an ability to invade your personal space but with such a degree of love and affection you just can't help but give him cuddles.

If you're a Cell, and Buddy is a happy Virus, he's like a happy Virus trying to invade your Cell Membrane!

💖 Buddy can, with moderate confidence:
• Sit, wait, shake, wait and shake for breakfast and dinner, walks well on a lead, travels well in a the car (but needs a barrier as he thinks he can ride shotgun)
• Is great with every dog he's met but does like to play rough.
Buddy would not suit someone who:
• has minimal patience
• wants a backyard ornamental dog
• doesn't like a bit of slobber
• will not take him for walks and adventures.
• won’t appreciate all his love and affection, even if it does result in a bit of spilt milk.

💖 I think Buddy would love a home with :
• An active couple or single lady that will take him on adventures and let him sleep on the bed.
• A decent size yard as Buddy loves zoomies once or twice a day.
Despite being a big goof ball buddy looks scary enough to scare away creepy people on your evening walks.
• Buddy is crate trained but loves to be able to sleep close to you.
• Buddy is quite strong but walks well already, I think with further consistent training and a strong bond Buddy will walk even better on a lead.
If it didn't work out for any reason, Buddy would always be welcome back here until he finds the perfect home.

Buddy is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is regularly wormed and treated for fleas.
