About Matilda
**TO BE REHOME AS SECOND DOG ONLY / WITH ANOTHER DOG ALREADY IN THE HOME**
Matilda is a gentle beagle with a heart full of potential. Though she may be a little shy at first, she blossoms with time, patience, and kindness. Once her trust is gained, her sweet personality shines through, and she'll form a deep bond with her future family. She would do best in a calm and understanding home with pet-savvy children over 6 who can give her the space and reassurance she needs to continue building confidence.
Matilda is a tolerant and easygoing girl who gets along well with other dogs, making her a great match for the right canine companion. A calm, confident dog in the household would help Matilda feel even more secure and at ease. She's also happy to relax when left alone, showing no signs of separation anxiety. With a slow and thoughtful introduction, she could also live with cats, making her a lovely fit for a variety of homes.
Matilda walks well on lead, making her a great walking buddy. She may take a little time to adjust to new surroundings, but with a patient and loving home, she will continue to grow in confidence and trust. She's looking for someone who will celebrate her progress and encourage her as she discovers the joys of being part of a family.
Matilda is ready to start her next chapter with a caring and committed adopter who will help her feel safe and loved. If you're looking for a gentle, easygoing companion who just needs a little encouragement to shine, Matilda could be the perfect match for you!
