About Pixie
Introducing Pixie, a delightful Cairn Terrier mix with a heart of gold and an infectious zest for life. Just 5 years old and weighing 10 kg, Pixie is the perfect balance of spirited fun and laid-back charm. How she ended up in the pound is a mystery to us.
Her wonderfully waggy tail is always ready to greet both familiar faces and new friends with warmth and enthusiasm, making her a welcoming presence in any household.
Alert and curious, Pixie sounds the bark alarm when someone comes to the door, but as soon as the door opens to reveal a human - any human - her barking stops and her waggy tail works overtime.
While her activity level is generally relaxed, she loves a good game of fetch—indoors or out—showing off her retrieving skills with pride.
Pixie finds immense joy in car rides and eagerly anticipates trips by getting super excited when she sees the leash come out of the cupboard.
She uses the doggie door with ease, sleeps soundly through the night (usually claiming her spot on the sofa), and delights in lounging in air-conditioned comfort during warm summer days.
Pixie is a confident, outgoing girl. Assertive but not aggressive, she's dog-friendly, but it's good practice for all introductions with new dogs to be supervised. She is untested with cats.
Although she isn't particularly food-orientated, she enjoys her meals at a leisurely pace.
In short, Pixie is an adaptable canine companion, ready to bring her affectionate and fun-loving spirit to a new family.
