Jake is a sweet 10-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart of gold. The shelter can feel a little overwhelming for him, but once he's comfortable, his playful personality shines through. He's very food-motivated, loves a good game of fetch, and already knows some great manners like sit, shake, and lay down.

Jake will do best in a calm, structured home where he can settle in at his own pace and build trust with his new person as the only pet in the home. He prefers having his own space and enjoys quiet walks and low-key surroundings. With patience and consistency, he has the potential to feel safe and secure in his new environment.
