About Shakey
Shakey is a stunning 6 year old kelpie girl. She is sweet, funny, playful and a joy to have around.
She walks ok on a lead, and hangs nearby when pottering around the farm. She also enjoys splashing in any form of water!
Shake has spent her life as a farm companion, before being surrendered to us, along with her 8 puppies; she did a great job raising them, and now it’s her turn to find her perfect forever family.
Shake is looking for a home with her people home more often than not, or with another playful doggo for company when no one is home.

Medical notes
Shakey suffers from early-onset Cerebellar Abiotrophy (CA). This means she has a head bobble and slightly wobbly gait (front legs stance/walk). The early-onset CA is non degenerative, so her symptoms won’t change much from here. She still runs and plays with the other kelpies in her foster home just fine. Her life may be slightly shorter than an unaffected kelpie.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
