About Sapphire SUA013499
Meet Sapphire, a striking and captivating feline with a personality as beautiful as her name suggests.
Sapphire is self-sufficient and content with her own company, making her an excellent choice for adopters who have busy lifestyles yet still desire the presence of a feline friend. She doesn't yearn for constant affection and prefers not to be smothered with love, but she most certainly knows how to charm when she decides it’s attention time. On those special occasions, Sapphire will cozy up next to you on the couch, providing a comforting presence.
Playtime is where Sapphire truly shines. She delights in the chase, exhibiting a lively side that is enjoyable to watch. From pouncing on her toys to engaging in a little hide-and-seek, she's always ready to entertain—and she might even inspire a game of interactive play.
Sapphire would thrive in a home without young children, as she appreciates a calm and gentle environment where she can relax and fully express her inquisitive nature. If you have a home full of love to give—but respect for a feline who values her independence—this beautiful girl might be the perfect addition to your life.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
