About Georgie - 9 Week Old Domestic Short Hair
Introducing Georgie, an adorable 9 week old DSH kitten. She has a beautiful black coat with a white vest and cute little face. She is very affectionate, and loves the cuddles, but not for too long, as there is too much fun to be had running around and playing with toys!
Georgie and her sisters Gemma and Gisele, have had a really rough start to life. Before arriving at their carer's home, they had never been held or stroked or loved by a human before.
They have spent the last few weeks getting to know what safety and full tummies are all about. Georgie is still a little bit timid, but has been learning very quickly to trust and play. She is now an affectionate little kitten who purrs as soon as she is picked up.
Georgie currently lives in a very noisy and full household consisting of 3 older children, 2 older resident cats, and her 2 sisters. Every day she is learning that strokes and toys are great!
Georgie was born with a birth defect at the base of her tail. It is quite badly kinked, and sometimes affects her jumping and landing skills. However, there is no nerve damage and her toileting functions are perfect. Her birth defect does NOT slow her down, and she gets in plenty of play time. Georgie is looking for a special family of her own that will understand her specialness and continue to show her what love is.
Georgie (and her sisters) are currently in foster care in Cardiff, NSW. Her adoption fee is $250, which includes her 1st vaccination, microchipping and desexing. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing.
