About Mali
Looking for a loyal best mate who will always have your back? Mali isn’t just a dog—she’s a true companion, always by your side (or watching from the bathroom doorway while you shower!).
She may be deaf, but she’s tuned in to everything you do, responding to facial cues and hand signs like a pro.
At home, Mali has impeccable manners and a quirky personality. She sits on chairs like a human, watches TV, and curls up beside you at night—ideally snuggled in like a teddy bear until she decides to move to the foot of the bed, once she thinks you are asleep.
She loves her walks but mostly on her terms. Seeing the lead come out is super exciting, but she’ll only go as far as she feels like before politely letting you know it’s time to turn back by planting her bum firmly and staring toward home! She isn’t exactly high-energy! However, if there’s water around? Game on! She’ll splash and zoom to her heart’s content before snoozing the rest of the day away.
A home with a dog door would be perfect for Mali so she can pop out as needed. She’s low-maintenance but thrives with a human who enjoys her constant, loving presence.
A kitten foster carer is fostering her and Mali is ok with being used as a pillow but will chase a kitty if she runs! She is quite playful.
If you’re looking for an affectionate, and slightly quirky best friend, Mali could be your girl. Pros of a deaf dog, she can’t hear your musical taste or get bothered by the dogs next door barking! She is all personality.
Medical notes
Mali is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
Deaf. Responds to facial cues and hand signs
