About Juan - 11 Week Old Staffy X
Juan is happy playful puppy looking for an active family to make him part of the family and experience everything the world has to offer.
Juan has been working on his training and is mastering the skill “ sit and come”. Like Juan’s sibling Miguel he his favourite past time is chewing on his Kong, tummy rubs and just laying in your arm when he is not snoozing with his big foster siblings. Juan sleeps all night in his crate and is mastering toilet training. Juan’s foster parents have introduced Juan to the importance of good grooming and hygiene and Juan is showing positive response to ear, eye, and nail care.
This adorable puppy will keep his new family entertained, he is an active fun loving puppy who would benefit from having another friendly dog to learn from. Juan is very quickly learning to live with 4 resident cats, ( work in progress) but untested with pocket pets or chickens.
Overview:
* Expected size: Medium to Large breed
* Suitable for families with children over 8 years
* Juan requires a secure yard to run and play in and is not suitable for apartment living
* Training: Commitment to ongoing training using positive reinforcement
* Juan has shown to be a smart puppy and would benefit from attending Puppy school giving him the best start to family life.
* Dedicated family who will ensure Juan is always part of the family and included family life.
* Toilet training : Successfully learning all aspects of toilet training, will require ongoing dedication, encouragement and patience to master this skill.
Juan is in foster care in Weston, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved DRN Vets for desexing. Juan's adoption fee is $700 which includes desexing when he is old enough and his first 2 vaccinations. Juan is treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
