About Milo
Introducing the charming and energetic Milo, a striking black and tan Kelpie with a gentle personality and floppy ears. This delightful boy embodies the classic Kelpie traits of intelligence, agility and a love for companionship. Milo thrives on activity and enjoys assisting his foster carer with daily farm chores, eagerly lending a paw wherever he can.
During his time in foster care, Milo has bonded well with two other dogs: a wise, elderly blue heeler, whom he treats with great care, and a playful Kelpie of similar age. Their days are filled with joyful Kelpie zoomies, playtime and spirited tug-of-war sessions. However, Milo would be equally content as the sole companion to his human family, soaking up all their attention.
To unlock his full potential, Milo will benefit from continued, patient training. He has good manners during mealtimes, and takes treats gently when prompted. While he enjoys greeting human visitors, he can jump up in excitement which could be overwhelming for very young children.
Milo is house-trained and knows some basic commands, but his focus can waver. His recall varies depending on distractions, so ongoing, consistent training and clear boundaries will help him thrive. He responds well to treats during training sessions and walks well on a lead, although he may become a bit excited around livestock and chickens, necessitating proper management in those situations.
Milo is seeking a home with ample space to explore and a family experienced with Kelpies and working breeds. Although he's not much of an escape artist, he does enjoy investigating his surroundings, so secure fencing is essential to keep him safe. If he will be left alone, a secure yard or dog pen will be necessary to curb his wandering tendencies.
If you're ready to welcome this beautiful boy into your home, apply to find out more about Milo today!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
