About Stripes
Stripes has such a big personality! She loves to be the center of attention! She loves being around people, and hanging out with the other cats and dogs in her foster home.
She loves rumbling with her sisters, but hates it when she loses! She's hilarious! She chases toys like she's possessed (or really anything that might double as a toy for a kitten - like lost Christmas decorations).
She loves a snuggle, and cuddles up with her family at night to watch TV. She's happy to be scooped up by adults and kids alike and have a cuddle.
She gets along beautifully with the rest of the family cats and dogs. She loves to snuggle up with the family poodle.
Stripes would be great in any home, but would really love a home where there are other pets that she can make friends with and hang out with.
Note: we've listed Stripes as a short hair, but she's something in between a short and medium hair. She has some short bits and some fluffy bits!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
