About Coral
Coral has come so far since she came into the rescue from a colony heavily pregnant. Now, after raising her 7 babies, she is looking for a forever home she can call her own.
With patient care she's really coming out of her shell. She can be shy around strangers, but once she gets to know you she loves coming for pats. She needs a quiet home with someone patient who will give her the time to settle in and relax.
She still loves playing like a kitten when the mood strikes her - she's still only young. As her confidence builds, she's becoming more and more outgoing.
Coral would prefer to be the only pet in the house. She would be ideal for someone who maybe lives alone (or a couple), who would like a cat companion and are happy to take the time to let her get to know them.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
