Meet Kaia – Your Playful & Loving New Best Friend!

Kaia is a bundle of energy and attitude, always ready for fun! She’s an excitable, playful pup who thrives on company and would be best suited to a family with other young dogs to keep up with her.

She’s already learned some great manners—she can sit, stay, wait for her dinner, and knows where to go to the toilet (though she still has the occasional accident). Kaia is definitely an indoor dog but enjoys having access to the yard through a doggy door. Wherever her people are, that’s where she wants to be!

She’s been walked off-lead and does well, staying close with reasonable recall for her age. She loves car rides, sticks with her pack, and respects boundaries—even though she could squeeze through the fence, she chooses not to!
She will need a strong leader who will keep up with her training as she can be a little crazy at times.

Kaia has been left inside during work hours with access to the yard, and she does great. She’s affectionate, social, and ready to bring joy to her loving new home. If you’re looking for a playful pup who loves adventure and cuddles, Kaia is the one for you!

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
