About Mathilda
Gorgeous Mathilda (or Tilly) is a happy, playful little girl. She loves playing with the other cats in her house, and any toys that are about, and has a great game with her foster mum where she hides and then jumps out to surprise her when she least expects it! So cheeky! Cardboard boxes, of course, are a big favourite!
She loves snuggling up with her foster family, and is a great work from home companion, always keeping her foster mum company.
She loves to be scooped up for a cuddle, and is happy to be picked up by adults and kids alike. Pats are welcome from everyone!
She's happy to be around other cats and gets along well with the other cats in her foster home.
She's gentle, and we think she'd probably prefer a quiet home where she can relax and hang out with her human or humans and get all the cuddles she deserves.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
