About Scampy (65046)
Scampy came to us as a shy and reserved boy who hadn't had much exposure to the outside world. Since then, he's made wonderful progress, warming up to new people and embracing new experiences with growing confidence. Scampy will thrive in a home with an owner who can continue to support his journey, using positive reinforcement and allowing him to take things at his own pace. While Scampy lived with other dogs, he's still learning how to socialize with dogs outside of his familiar group, so he's best suited to a home where he's the only dog, giving him the time and space to build these skills. He may also need some guidance transitioning to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle and has not been tested with cats. Scampy has no history with children, so we recommend a home with children aged 10 and older. With patience and understanding, Scampy has the potential to become a loving and loyal companion.
