About Blossom ๐ธ
๐๐พ๐ SE QLD - MEET SWEET SENIOR BLOSSOM ๐๐พ๐
Our senior sweetheart Blossom (14) is on the lookout for a SPECIAL family. When Blossom came into care she was malnourished and suffering from a severe kidney infection, but she showed us she had the will to live and with some TLC, good food and antibiotics she has started to thrive. Her infection is gone and she's much more steady on her feet ๐
Blossom loves to go wandering around the house and will need an environment that is easy to navigate with no tricky stairs. Blossom has very low vision with cataracts in both eyes, however once she knows her environment she is able to get around, but does still have the occasional bump of the head. She will need supervision when left to freely roam or a safe contained place to rest when her humans aren't near. We have tried the Halo but it's not going very well ๐
Blossom would be best suited either as the only dog or with gentle seniors who wonโt be likely to knock her over ๐ถ
Blossom is continent during the day, but does need someone to take her outside at regular intervals and supervise her whilst she goes to the toilet. Over night she does have the occasional accident ๐ฝ
Blossom is an early riser and she doesn't care if the sun is not yet up, she's hungry for breakfast! Blossom loves cuddles on the couch and when she looks at you with her big eyes and sweet little head tilt, she will melt your heart. She will reward her familyโs special care by being the sweetest little sidekick. There is something truly special about caring for a senior puggy ๐
Medical notes
