About Rayna
This gentle well mannered lady is Rayna a registered bred female German Shepherd who has received the best of care and veterinary attention all her life.
Rayna’s owner sadly has passed away and Rayna is now living with her carer at Harrington.
Rayna has become a wonderful companion for her carer however Rayna enjoys a daily walk and is quite determined to walk out in front and becomes excited when she sees other dogs.
Her carer’s health and strength are not conducive to walking Rayna. So we are seeking a home who will continue with walking Rayna on a harness or gentle leader so she can enjoy her walks but not challenge her owner.
We are seeking a quiet home with a mature aged single person or couple who will provide Rayna with inclusion in their home and ensure she has the comforts this ‘grand mature aged lady’ deserves.
Rayna comes with a full vet history and has no pre-existing health issues. Rayna had attended dog parks since a puppy and is dog social and loves people. Fully house trained, Rayna loves going in the car and has been around her former owners grandchildren since birth.
It is requested Rayna remain in New South Wales at the request of family members.
To apply for Rayna please either click on the link “Enquire for Rayna” and we will send you our application form or go to our website and complete our application form.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Rayna is in excellent health and has no hip or elbow issues. Excellent breeding.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
