Meet Sevika!
This funny girl was surrendered to us with her mum (now adopted!) after her owner couldn't care for them anymore.
If you're looking for a kitten to entertain you, Sevika is your girl!
Her hilarious personality will keep you watching her in confusion and entertaining for hours.
Sevika is affectionate, always wanting to be near you. If you're on the couch or asleep, she'll be curled up along your legs. She'll make lots of noise when you pat her, but she loves it.
The foster carer carries her around cradled like a baby and can cover her face in kisses.
She's quite talkative, always letting you know what she's thinking. The funny thing about Sevika is she will make grumpy meows when she is happy or playful. It confused the other cats in foster care at first but they got used to it in a couple weeks.
She enjoys playing, and is the first to jump onto a toy, or another cat's tail if they're not looking. She has lots of energy.
Sevika would be good as an only cat or with other cats, as long as there's a slow introduction (so they can get used to her little quirks!).
Not suitable for younger kids.
Untested with dogs.
Located in Brunswick West
As of 1st August 2025, our adoption fees will be adjusted to help cover rising vet and care costs. The new fees are as follows:
Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
Change of ownership is included in the adoption fee.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us care for and rehome the many cats and kittens that come through our rescue.
All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.
Medical notes
She had a mild UTI from sitting and peeing in a balcony carrot patch (the soil fully covered her lower parts).
Fully resolved now.
1/2 of her food is now urinary specific food as a precautionary measure.
