I might sound like trouble with a name like mine, but I’m really just guilty of stealing hearts.

Nature
Handraised with extra love, I’m the kind of kitten who lives for cuddles, kisses, and being the center of attention. If you’re dishing out pats, I’ll drop and roll like I’m pulling over for a ticket — because affection is my favorite crime!

I’m an expert at breaking the rules of personal space (hope you don’t mind a love bug glued to your side) and have no respect for the concept of “too many kisses.” Whether you’re busy or relaxing, I’ll be there to smooch you silly and remind you that love is a 24/7 offense.

Don’t let my sweet side fool you, I’ve got a wild streak too. I zoom, I pounce, I play like I’ve got a full tank of energy and no speed limits! Toys don’t stand a chance, and I’ll have you laughing as I dart around like I’m chasing a getaway car.

If you’re ready for a kitten who lives life in the fast lane of love and play, I’m ready to be your partner in crime. Adopt me, and let’s break all the rules together, starting with “no kittens on the bed” (spoiler alert: that’s where I’ll be cuddled up every night)!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’d be fabulous with kids because I’m such a confident, loving guy. I’m happy to be best friends with every human I meet.

I’m used to having company 24/7 so I’d love a home with another cat, or to be adopted with a foster friend of mine. I live with a 50kg dog and don’t mind her.

Likes / Dislikes
I love people, pats and… did I say people? The only thing I dislike is the vacuum. That thing is scary!

My PURR-fect home would be a loving forever family who will give me lots of kisses and cuddles. I want to be your best friend forever. I’d love to be kept as an indoor cat so I’m safe from the dangers of the outdoor world.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Double Demerits has been exposed to a kitten with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) for a short period of time. FeLV is a retrovirus that weakens a cat’s immune system and is eventually fatal. FeLV transmission most commonly occurs through close, social contact with an infected cat’s saliva.

Double Demerits has tested negative to FeLV in January 2025 however there is a risk he could develop it in future. As Double Demerits is very cat social he will need to be adopted with a sibling or other FeLV exposed cat from the same foster home. Alternatively, as the risk to healthy adult cats is low, Double Demerits can be adopted into a home with an existing cat, if the cat is a healthy adult that is vaccinated against Feline Leukemia Virus (F3 or F5 vaccination).

We recommend a follow-up FeLV test in March 2025 to provide further confidence the kitten has not contracted the virus, although this will still not be definitive given the variable incubation period of the virus.

Double Demerits was exposed to Ringworm, a common fungal infection. He did not show any symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
