About Simba Blue
Simba Blue is currently in foster care while he waits for the right forever home — and the right home for Simba will be one that truly understands and appreciates his bold, complex and deeply loyal personality.
A striking boy with the look of a long-haired Russian Blue, Simba has a beautiful coat, long legs and an unmistakable presence. He’s clever, agile and full of character, with a big personality that fills the room. This is not a background cat — Simba likes to be seen, heard and very much understood.
Simba is incredibly smart and has already learned a few tricks in a short time, showing just how switched-on and capable he is. He’s chatty, expressive and not shy about telling you exactly what he wants (usually food or attention — and preferably both, immediately!). He thrives on interaction and forms strong bonds with his person, showing loyalty and affection in his own unique way.
That said, Simba is a cat who needs the right environment to shine. He is very territorial and does not get along with other cats, dogs or children, so he must be the only pet in an adults-only home. He can be selective with people and may take time to build trust, but for someone experienced with cats and willing to respect his boundaries, Simba offers a deeply rewarding relationship.
He does have some ongoing health considerations. Simba is FIV positive and has gum disease, which has resulted in him having only four teeth. Despite this, he remains active, engaged and very food-motivated — nothing slows him down when it comes to mealtime! His adopter will need to be mindful of his health needs and continue to provide appropriate care.
Simba Blue isn’t for everyone — but for the right person, he is everything. If you’re experienced, patient, and looking for a clever, character-filled companion who will form a strong, loyal bond, Simba is waiting to meet you.
Simba Blue is a healthy raw/high quality fed male adult cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000010861995, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!
