About Vanilla
Meet Vanilla,
Vanilla is looking for either a very special and understanding forever home or a foster with view to adopt home.
Vanilla was used for backyard breeding and was not socialised well and not treated the best.
Because of this she has quite alot of fears and anxieties around new people, surroundings and new big dogs.
Vanilla does not currently like being touched by humans, but is slowly learning they are okay and will sit at the opposite side to the couch or by your feet.
Vanilla has never walked on lead, and has had not training in her time before coming into care.
She is now learning her name, and is toilet trained.
Currently her main training focus is to trust humans.
She will take food out of her foster carers hand. The way to her heart is definitely food!
Musts for Vanillas new home:
- Another small breed confident dog (she gets scared of dogs larger than her)
- understanding people willing to give her the space and time she needs
- a home with kids over 12 years of age (while she has been around a 6 month old baby, sudden movements and loud noises are very scary for her)
Vanilla had been around cats and would happily go to a home with cats.
If you think you might be able to offer Vanilla a quiet home where she can learn to blossom and become a loving pet, enquire now.
Please note, enquiries that haven't read her profile and understand her needs will not be sent an application.
Medical notes
Some anxieties which should settle with time.
Had alot of broken or rotten teeth which have since been removed. 9 in total were removed.

- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
