Meet Briggs, short for 'Brigade' because he was rescued by the awesome fire brigade after getting stuck between two walls!

Nature
Will Briggs be your future cuddle buddy? This confident and affectionate kitten loves to shower his person with kisses, headbutts, snuggles, and purrs. He’s a true lap cat who will curl up in your arms for endless love, basking in all the attention you can give. Always ready for a chat, Briggs will “talk” to you with little meows, especially when it’s mealtime or he wants some attention!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Briggs has met his 6-adult foster/resident siblings, and he keeps a confident demeanour. He’s submissive and respectful when it comes to them. If another cat hisses or growls, he calmly rolls on his back and shows his cute stripey belly, signalling his willingness to interact but without being pushy.

His calm, confident nature shows he is respectful to other cats and is happy to approach new feline friends, his Foster Mum thinks this will mean Briggs would also likely do well with a cat-savvy dog, given the right introductions.

Although Briggs has yet to meet kids in his foster home, his sweet personality leads his Foster Mum to believe that children will adore him. With his calm and affectionate ways, Briggs would be a wonderful addition to any family.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Sitting in your lap and being showered with love (he will happily give you kisses in return)
✅ Zoomies and playing with his more playful foster feline friends
✅ Chatting with you (you'll know when he wants food or attention!)
✅ Eating – Briggs is a big fan of food!
✅ Playtime with toys, especially anything that dangles, spins, or rolls
✅ Purring and being your constant companion, always by your side
✅ Sitting on a windowsill enjoying a view
❌ Loud noises, like the vacuum (he prefers peace and quiet)
❌ Cold floors (he'd rather curl up in a soft bed, couch or a cozy lap)
❌ If picked up he needs to be held close or may squirm

My PURR-fect home would be a warm and loving home where I can be your loyal, affectionate lap companion. I would do best in a home with another cat or fur friend because I like to have company and potentially kids of any age, who can offer me the attention and companionship I crave.
