Meet Bambi and Thumper, an adorable bonded pair ready to fill your life with joy and companionship! These furry pals complement each other perfectly and are seeking a loving family willing to open their hearts to both of them.
Bambi, a charming Foxie cross Chihuahua, is a 7-year-old sweetheart weighing a petite 7 kg. She enjoys being an inside dog, making her the perfect companion for those cozy nights in. With her friendly demeanor, Bambi interacts well with cats, other dogs, and children over six. She's fully desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, ensuring she's in optimal health as she looks forward to new adventures alongside you.
Her partner, Thumper, is a lively Chihuahua cross with a slightly sturdier build at 8 kg and an approximate age of 6 years. He matches Bambi in charm and energy but shines in his unique way. Thumper is not as enthusiastic about feline companions but gets along well with other dogs and mature, gentle children. As an inside dog, he appreciates a secure fence where he can safely explore the backyard under supervision.
Both Bambi and Thumper call Coorparoo home for now, but they eagerly await the chance to join a new and loving household. Covered by the same adoption fee, these delightful dogs offer double the joy and an opportunity to observe two different but harmonious personalities living in perfect harmony.
If you are ready to provide a warm, secure environment filled with plenty of companionship, Bambi and Thumper would love to be part of your family and share their days with you. Adopt this wonderful duo and embark on a joyous journey full of loyalty, fun, and furry love.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
