About Quiver
Meet Quiver, a 7-week-old kelpie x border collie boy with a confident and outgoing nature who loves people.
Quiver is a fearless adventurer who is always ready to discover new things! He has consistently been among the first to explore his backyard world and to take (puppy-sized) risks without any concerns.
He’s active and playful, and loves to play with his siblings and zoom around the yard. Along with his sister Sway, he is usually the last one to come back inside at nap time!
Quiver is intelligent, switched on and engaged. He has heaps of drive and would make an amazing partner for an outdoorsy and adventurous family, a running enthusiast, or someone looking to do advanced training or fun activities like agility or hobby herding.
Quiver adores the older dogs in the household, putting out all stops to get himself noticed so that they will play with him!
He is coming along with his toilet training – though he is a baby and will need continued guidance to fully toilet train.
Quiver will be an energetic dog who will need plenty of mental and physical stimulation – a walk a day won’t be enough for this boy. He is looking for an active family who will make the most of his smarts and drive, allow him inside as part of the family, and include him in all their adventures.
He would love a home with another doggie pal, preferably 18 months or older, who is well behaved and will set a good example for him to follow.
His new family must be committed to continuing his exposure to the world and ongoing training to make sure he develops into a well-adjusted dog.
If you think Quiver might be the best mate you’ve been searching for, send us an application with some details about the life you can offer him.
Quiver is located in the ACT.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
