About Flitter
Meet Flitter, a 7-week-old kelpie x border collie girl with a cheeky nature and a propensity for launching herself into spontaneous zoomies without warning.
This fun-loving girl might be crossed with a mountain goat or maybe a cat – either way, she enjoys taking the scenic route to get up on things. At just 5 weeks of age, she learned to use her claws like a kitten to pull herself up on the couch for some comfortable napping closer to mum and away from her siblings.
Flitter is very smart and super engaged with her human. She loves people and will rush over to visitors for attention.
She’s confident with new environments, and happy to explore the yard with or without her siblings.
She is full of beans and loves to play with her siblings. She also loves to pounce on and attacccc the back end of the adult dogs when they’re not looking, but she has lovely manners with their front end!!
Flitter is coming along with her toilet training – though she is a baby and will need continued guidance to fully toilet train.
Flitter will be an energetic dog who will need plenty of mental and physical stimulation. She is looking for an active family who will make the most of her smarts and drive, allow her inside as part of the family, and include her in all of their adventures.
She would love a home with another doggie pal, preferably 18 months or older, who is well behaved and will set a good example for her to follow.
Her new family must be committed to continuing her exposure to the world and ongoing training to make sure she develops into a well-adjusted dog.
If you think Flitter might be the best mate you’ve been searching for, send us an application with some details about the life you can offer her.
Flitter is located in the ACT.

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
