Cosmin will instantly steal your heart with her signature “Staffy wiggle” and cheeky smiles.

When she first came into care with her sister, she had endured unimaginable hardships, the girls were terrified, emaciated, and suffering from mange. She cowered and shook, and would run out of the room with the slightest noise. But with patience, love and care she has blossomed into a joyful, playful, and loving companion ready to start her next chapter her with forever family. Cosmin still has trauma from her past life and needs gentle reassurance from her foster carer if something frightens her.

Cosmin is very smart and very sweet and loves her humans once she feels safe. She has been great with guests to the home but is still wary and will need a patient and caring home as we don’t know or understand what exactly her previous life was like.

This sweet girl adores carrying her favourite toys everywhere, zooming around the yard in bursts of excitement, and giving gentle, heartfelt kisses. She has been known to be a bit sneaky and will steal your sandwich from the bench if it’s within reach!

She is a clever girl who has mastered the doggie door and has shown she is eager to learn and please. Cosmin has a calm and kind nature once she realises she is safe and loves to lie next to you on the couch, or bed, she is also cat-friendly and has been around the resident cat and multiple dogs and loves the company.

Cosmin loves going for a walk and meeting dogs and people along the way as long as they respect her boundaries and give her space.

She truly is a sweet and loving dog with a heartwarming story of resilience. Having come from a traumatic background, she carries both the strength and sensitivity shaped by her past experiences. Despite her challenges, Cosmin’s personality shines through, making her a truly special companion.

Her nature is tender and affectionate, reflecting her desire for love and companionship.

Due to her traumatic past, Cosmin requires patience and a calm environment to build her confidence and sense of safety with calm adults and patient households and may be nervous around strangers, busy homes, or fast movements.

She thrives when given gentle reassurance and consistent care over time.

Providing a stable, quiet, and loving home helps her feel secure and gradually open up.
