Hi there, my name is Bean! I'm on the lookout for my forever home, will it be with you?

I am looking for a family that understands my timid nature and understands I can be a little unsure about pats and handling. I would love if my family is patient with me and has a calm demeanor to make me more comfortable around you. I'm a loving companion who would thrive with consistency and gentle guidance. My new family should be prepared to provide structured walks and positive reinforcement to help build my confidence and understand my needs and preferences. Due to my timid nature, a home where children and parents are able to ensure I am comfortable as well as any children in the home. I enjoy playing with toys, especially fluffy squeaky ones! I think we'd get along pawfectly if we played with these together to build a bond!

During my time at the shelter, I have shown to be a little apprehensive around other dogs. I would thrive best in a home with a calm, social dog who respects my space and I respect theirs too. So if you have another dog at home, please bring them into the shelter so the team can organise a doggy play date to ensure we will get along just fine!
