About Benalli
Benalli is a gorgeous Blue Heeler cross puppy born on 26/08/2024. He is currently living in a large, multiple dog household, and as a result has been well socialised with his canine pals. Benalli often takes the submissive role in a group of dogs and at times he enjoys sitting back just relaxing and watching the others play rather than participating every time.
Benalli also loves his human company. He was lucky enough to go to work with a local farmhand just recently. He participated in being a passenger on a tractor and following his handler while his handler did a fencing job for the day. The report from Benallis handler upon return was “He is such a snuggle bug that just wants to be with his person.”
During Benallis stay in foster care, he has been undergoing some basic training. At this stage of Benallis young life, he sits on command (almost every time) and has recently started learning some crate training under supervision. Benalli is very accepting of a soft bedded crate or play pen and often falls into a deep sleep for at least a couple of hours before needing a toilet break. Benalli has also been working on coming when called and is making good progress. He loves a rubber ball or toy to hold on to or chase after and, he is successful with bringing it back for at least a few times before tiring out. Benalli allows full body touch, including the paws and tail, and allows teeth, ear and eye checks without issue which is a great thing to please a vet or groomer. He has also had some lead training and is coming along well.
Like all puppies, Benalli will require further ongoing training, and we would love him to go to a home where his new owner/s are familiar with his breed.
