Candy *On Trial*

*candy is currently trialling her new home* this beautiful little dog is candy and she’s looking for a loving forever home – will it be with you???

candy and her 16 week old pup, pixie, were recently rescued by sarg from our local pound and are now safe and settling in well into foster care. Gorgeous girl candy has the softest, most luxurious fur which makes you want to cuddle and pat her for hours, the bonus being that she doesn’t appear to drop much of it either! she gets along well with humans of all shapes and sizes especially children and she’s well-behaved around other little dogs and doesn’t appear to be bothered by her carers cat. Candy is currently in care with zalli another little female sarg dog and they get along fine with candy taking on the more “maternal” role. She isn’t licky or in your face and doesn’t jump up on you. Candy sits when asked, walks well on a lead and enjoys playing “fetch” and as she doesn’t always bring the ball back it can turn into a fun game of chasies which can really get her going!!!

we reckon candy’s a lovely blend of terrier, pomeranian and cavalier king charles spaniel and at 6. 7kgs is a nice lap size! \ she will only need a good brush once a week to keep her coat looking stunning and maybe the occasional trim of her “feathery bits” if they start to get a bit long. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep her stimulated in her new home will make candy very happy indeed!!

candy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a friendly doggie companion or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s settling in to her new home.
