🌻💐 MEET SUMMER 💐🌻

We would love to introduce you to Summer. During her time in foster care, Summer has blossomed into a lovely house cat who loves to bask in the sun and hang out with her feline friends.

Nature
It is important to know that Summer operates on a strict look but no touch policy, with the only exceptions made when there are tasty treats at hand. She is very timid around humans and it will take some time to earn her trust. Provided you respect her boundaries, she is never aggressive and displays passive behaviour. If you are looking for your next lap cat, Summer is not for you.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Following a slow and gentle introduction, Summer is friends with the other kitties in her foster home. She can be a bit grumpy with newcomers, but comes around eventually. She would benefit from having a human-friendly and confident feline companion.

Although she has never met dogs whilst in care, she may adjust to a calm and gentle doggo when given a slow introduction.

Summer would need a mature home without children.

Likes / Dislikes
Summer likes to sit high up on her tower to observe the comings and goings of the household. She enjoys playing with her favourite toys and is a mighty huntress of any crickets who make the mistake of straying into her territory. She likes to sing the song of her people to announce her victory or call out for one of her feline friends.

Take-away night is her favourite night of the week when she will leave her timid nature behind in order to share your dinner by gently accepting offerings from your hand. Fish and chips, KFC and prawn crackers are her favourite treats.

Sudden movements or advances are not appreciated. She will give you warnings if backed into a corner. Loud noises, such as vacuuming, and strangers in her environment will send her looking for a quiet space to hide in until the coast is clear.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet one with humans who have the patience to allow me to settle in and gain trust. I have shown amazing progress with human socialisation during my time in foster care and I am hoping to continue to grow my confidence in my new forever home.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Summer was exposed to ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. She did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
