About Caspian
Caspian is a stunning golden boy with delicious chocolate highlights. He draws the attention of many admirers on his walks. Caspian has taken to pet life in his foster home very well. He knows all the basics about windows, mirror, stairs and getting the hang of slippery floorboards. He knows the basic house rules and is an all round good boy.
Caspian likes to stay close by his humans but will soon settle when he realises he is not missing out on anything. He is happily sharing his home with a female greyhound. They get on well but are also both independent and can take themselves off to a quiet spot for some alone time. Caspian prefers to sleep on his own bed close to or within the human bedroom.
Caspian enjoys two or three walks a day, anything from 10 to 30 minutes. He walks well on lead and loves to explore the neighbourhood. Being a social butterfly, he is comfortable meeting new people on his walks. Caspian is still a little confused by dogs that don’t look like him so will need some more practice socialising with non-greyhounds. He is unbothered by traffic or loud noises on his walks. He is quite confident meeting children too, even the noisy ones.
Caspian has only spent a short time totally home alone without his foster sibling or humans. He has been left a few hours with the other greyhound but the humans out of the house. He has a bit of a whine initially but settles on his bed.
Our boy is very relaxed and easy going with being handled. He is will give you full permission to brush him, lifting and cleaning his paws, brushing his teeth or lifting him up. He will love to share the couch with you if he is allowed.
Our cuddly boy will appreciate if he can borrow your tummy to rest his head while you watch some telly.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option
