About Reba
Reba is an amazing pup with a bright and happy personality. She is a super affectionate girl who loves getting cuddles. Is there anything better than cuddles on the couch on your human? Reba thinks not! This little girl has done very well meeting people out and about of all ages, always greeting new friends with a waggy tail and willingness to give and get attention. It is clear that Reba loves to play. Nothing has been funnier than watching her pounce around playing with her toys which she then carries around proudly in her mouth. Reba will bring a whole lot of fun and love into her new home where we know she will thrive.
Since coming into care, Reba has met a range of dogs, all of who she has been keen to be friends with. There are two larger dogs in her foster home, and she loves to play with them or simply chill out on the mat by their side. Reba can be a little over friendly at first and would benefit from her new owners showing her how to be calmer when meeting new dogs to ensure that everyone loves her as much as she loves them. As she is a young pup, she will require ongoing socialisation and would be best suited to someone who has a network of friends/family with other suitable dogs that she could have regular play dates with. We expect that she will be a relatively active dog when fully grown. She will need good daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep her healthy and happy throughout her life.
While in foster care, Reba has started all her basic training. She is such a smart pup who shows a willingness to learn and please. Reba has been learning to sit, wait for her food and walk nicely on the lead. At home she is doing great with her toilet training and is fine to be left home alone with or without the other dogs around. Reba’s training is obviously still in progress, so her new owners will need to be committed to her ongoing training and development. She will need continued and appropriate exposure to things in the big wide world, but she has such a wonderful base temperament to work with and looks to her owner for guidance. Reba travels well in the car and will be a great adventure buddy in the future who would love to accompany her new family on outings like trips to the beach, camping or hiking.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Reba where she will be a valued member of her family. She would do well in a home with an adult friendly dog who is playful and already fully trained so that they are ready to be a great role model. Alternatively, she will also be fine as an only dog as long as her owner is home more often than not during the settling in phase. Reba should be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
Reba would be best suited to an adult only home or one with older children (teenagers) who are confident with dogs and able to engage with her training. She will need a home with a yard to play in and owners who will foster her sweet nature but give her all the guidance that will allow her to continue to develop into a great canine citizen. Reba will repay her new owners will tonnes of love, lots of cuddles and plenty of fun.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
