Constantly eager to know what you’re up to, she playfully follows you around like a little shadow, always curious and keen to be involved. Her affectionate demeanor and love for treats – especially raw chicken and cheese – make her easy to train, and she already knows how to sit on command and kindly refrain from jumping when asked. Funshine is a wonderful walking companion, great on a lead, and always up for a fun session of wrestling with her doggo foster brother.

Her interactions with humans are exuberant and friendly, making her a jumping jelly bean of excitement when meeting new friends. Though she hasn't been observed around small children, supervision during interactions would be wise, purely due to her boundless energy and enthusiasm. In moments of excitement, Funshine shows no aggression, just pure delight. Although she was initially anxious around her resident kelpie pal, she quickly adjusted, showing how adaptable and open she is to new doggy companions.
While Funshine enjoys her adventures outside, indoors, she’s well-behaved and doesn’t distract herself with furniture or cords. Although she’s still honing her house manners and toilet training , she has made significant progress in understanding her boundaries.

This beautiful girl thrives in an environment where she can have the freedom to explore both inside and outside the home. She would do best in a home where someone is around often, as her loyal nature makes her quite attached to her human family. Funshine is not only a cheerful playmate but also an excellent guard dog, alerting you to visitors with her keen senses.

Ideal home
Funshine thrives in a home where her hoomans are home more often than not as she will initially whine for 20 minutes when she is left alone, She can live happily with another dog but this will potentially take a slow introduction to a new dog so she feels safe. She is seeking a home that will continue to work with her on her house manners and that are committed to exercise and enrich her as shes a busy little girl with a zest for life and entertainment
Adoption Criteria
Funshine would thrive in a loving, active family who are dog savvy and enjoy an active lifestyle
A home where her family is home more often than not
Please remember she is an active young Jack Rusell x terrier so loves to explore enjoys a good active walk daily
Funshine needs a yard so we will not consider apartments or balcony style living please
We are seeking a dog experienced home who have the time to dedicate to loving and training her as she matures into an adult
If another dog in the home we seek a dog neutral friend who can be calm and gentle for initial introductions and able to wrestle and play once she warms up
She has not been tested with cats and we feel she is probably not suited
