Adventure buddy, couch potato, surf lifesaver, this hound can do it all!

Ozark is a gentle giant, don’t let his size fool you, he’s a big softy who’s favourite things include cuddling, snuggling and hangin’ out. He will have your heart in no time.

Ozark loves swimming - river, ocean, pool, bucket, it doesn’t matter, water is so fun!
He will happily share toys and beds with his foster siblings, he likes soft toys and playing tug. He matches the energy of whoever he plays with, zoomies, rough-housing, wrestling, he takes cues from dogs well and listens when enough is enough. He has proven himself with dogs big and small, he has lived with miniature dachshunds and staghounds his own size.

He is a quick learner, calm, responds well to routine, playful, energetic (with an ability to switch off as required), receptive to commands and your vibe.
Currently he stays home alone, with canine company, without any issues.

Ozark had received professional lead training and walks well with a halti. He is strong on lead, but is getting better every day. He will benefit from people who handle him with confidence and consistency. He is looking for a leader to follow.

He sleeps well through the night, perfectly toilet trained, has never jumped up or misunderstood his size. Although not tested with children, upper primary/dog savvy kids would be fine.
