About Davey

Sweet Davey has been letting her light shine bright since the day she arrived in foster care! This beautiful, cuddly kitten beams with confidence - upon meeting her foster family for the first time after being desexed at the vet, she immediately nuzzled into their hands and purred happily when they picked her up :)
A playful little explorer, Davey loves a good run-around of an evening (preferably if you join in!) before hopping into bed with you for snuggles once she's pooped (literally and figuratively). She spends most of the day perched high on her cat tower, snoozing away contentedly - but touch her food bowl and she'll break land speed records to get to you!
Like all Maggie's pets, Davey is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with another nice pet for me to play with! Probably one of the reasons I'm so happy and low-maintenance is because I have my brother Bootless by my side.
I reckon I'd also be the perfect first pet for a single person, couple or family, being so easygoing and extraverted!
Be aware that I'm obsessed with food, so you might have to feed me away from any other pets. My foster parents once tried to put me in the cat tree to let my brother eat in peace, and I beat them back to the kitchen...
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love a good game with my toys, and will definitely follow you around if you WFH during the day! Around 11am is my naptime, whether that's in my tree or on your lap.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I quite like being picked up for a cuddle, and playtime (and snacks!) are my favourite things, so there's every chance I'd do well in a home with kids who'll treat me like one of the family.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Excellent! My brother and I adore each other (maybe you'd like to adopt him too?), and though I haven't met any dogs yet I think I could make almost anything work :)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
