About Mantis
Hi, I’m Mantis! 🌿💫
Just like my namesake, I’m a playful, energetic little guardian looking for my forever home! I love zooming around the yard, jumping on anything I can reach, and splashing through puddles—water play is my absolute favourite! 💦🐾 I’m not the cuddliest pup, but I do enjoy a good pat and just being near my people. I don’t cry for attention, and I’m happy doing my own thing, but I’ll always be up for a fun game before settling down for a nap.
I’m also pretty clever! I already know how to sit and wait, I use the dog door like a pro, and I’m fully toilet trained. I’ve met kids, dogs, cats, and even a horse, and I take it all in stride! I love playing and being silly, but I’m also independent—I can keep myself entertained if you’re busy.

“Mantis seems like she will be quite independent. I never have to worry about entertaining her—she can always find her own fun! She still loves a game with us and is learning to bring the ball back. She’s always happy to meet new people, greeting them with big kisses, especially children!”

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
