About Bear
Bear is a vocal, affectionate boy who wants to be the only cat in the house (don’t worry, he has enough kitty lovin’ to go around for everyone). When he’s not exploring his cat enclosure he’s curled up in bed at your feet or playing with his favourite toy — a hair tie attached to a piece of ribbon (despite having 50 other actual cat toys to choose from). He currently sticks to his foster carer's bedroom as he doesn't want to be around the other cats, but he would be just as happy with his bed in the lounge room watching some tv with you or curled up in a cat tree.
Bear is on a daily tablet for anxiety but these should be able to be discontinued gradually once he’s settled into his new home (he’s currently fostered with other cats which he isn’t a fan of so the meds help). He loves food and says that he is STARVING but don’t let him fool you… he is very well fed! His favourite treats are Temptations and his tail shakes with excitement when he hears the packet rustling.
Bear was found on the street in Leichhardt, adopted, and then re-surrendered due to no fault of his own as his owner's circumstances changed. He would love a home where he can have access to an enclosed outdoor area or balcony with plants - he loves snoozing in the garden during the day and prefers going to the toilet outdoors as opposed to his litter tray (he will use it when he can’t go outside though).
Bear is set to win hearts with his big eyes and loving nature. He’s a low-maintenance companion who can entertain himself and sleeps through the night but loves routine and getting daily cuddles and playtime.
He’s a gentle boy and loves people. He could suit a house with kids as long as they can respect he will need time to settle in and become comfortable in his new home.
Let us know if Bear is the purrrrfect match for you!
