About Lucy
Lucy is a happy & loving little girl who knows her mind. She loves routine and knows exactly when it’s time for her daily walk - she will never let you forget! Her favourite things are to find puddles and creeks to jump into - she adores getting in the water. When not adventuring with her family she loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you in front of the TV or in bed for the night.
She is great with cats, dogs and chickens. She can be a little exuberant on her walks and needs a little bit of reminding to not be so excited - once you get going, she calms and is super happy to check out the neighbourhood. She thrives on human interaction and is best suited to someone at home however she settles well when left on her own for periods of time.
Medical notes
Lucy was surrendered with painful and uncomfortable "cherry eye" condition in both eyes which required immediate surgery. The Rescue paid for her very important veterinary care with the help of many generous donators. She can now live her best, sassy life comfortably and looking irresistible.

This is in no way an obligation to adopt but simply gives us some more information about the home, family and lifestyle you have to offer a new pet.
As of 2017, Fresh Start Rescue are no longer placing dogs in homes with children under the age of 9 years old. We know this will frustrate many families looking to adopt, however for the safety of both those families and are beloved dogs, we have decided to put this measure into place.
