Jett's handsome looks are matched only by his remarkable intelligence and trainability. He is a quick learner, but he can be quite strong on the lead. For this reason, an experienced owner familiar with the German Shepherd breed would be ideal for him. With ongoing positive reinforcement training, Jett will thrive and become a well-mannered companion.
While Jett can be quite sociable, he does best with friendly female dogs and has been known to coexist with cats in the past. To keep his mind and body engaged, Jett requires plenty of mental stimulation and opportunities to expend his energy. Without these outlets, he may resort to obsessive behaviors like fly catching and pacing.
Jett yearns for a deep connection with someone who is willing to invest time in building trust and providing him with structured routines, regular exercise, and an abundance of love. He is not the type to be left alone in a backyard; he longs to be indoors with his family, sharing moments and experiences as a cherished member of the household.

Enquiries sent through PetRescue will NOT be answered. Please follow the process below
1) Please note the name of the animal you're interested in
2) Visit the RSPCA Queensland adoption site at www.rspcaqld.org.au/adopt
3) Search for the animal either by type or location
4) View the animal's profile, and click the link to submit an application
5) RSPCA staff will contact you to inform you about the outcome of your application and to talk through the next steps if your application is successful!
