My name is Jasper, but my foster mum calls me Jazzman. There is a song called Jazzman and my foster mum likes to sing it to me. Jazzman, take my blues away….
Anyway back to my story. As so many of us here in rescue I was in a rural pound on the euthanasia list. I looked quite the sight in the pound with bits and pieces gone off my face from the cat trap. I was a sad sight and I certainly thought I was in for a sad ending until I got saved. Yipeeee.
I had to get my “ brave” on and make the best of the opportunity to live my best life that I had been given. My foster home had dogs , well that’s ok. I knew they wouldn’t hurt me, so now I lie next to them on the bed. The dogs even let me pinch their beds. It’s my natural charm you see.
Multiple cats, sure I can do that. As long as they leave some food on the plate. No worries. We all make room for each other on the bed and it’s nice to snuggle in the air con.
I have upgraded my skills to be an office assistant. Well actually I lie on the desk, the keyboard, my foster mum but hey it’s being there that counts, right?
