About Stevie
♥ Introducing sweet Stevie ♥
Stevie is a 2yr old Border Collie girl who is looking for a very special home.
Stevie has been working hard in foster care to reduce her learned levels of anxiousness and overcome her lack of confidence. She unfortunately developed some pacing behaviours at an early age and it formed a set habit over time.
Stevie has made progress in care and she is looking for a home that is committed to continuing her training and who can help redirect her when she gets stuck in a cycle of pacing.
Stevie is a very sweet dog who tries really hard to please you. She is now crate trained and this has been an essential part of her current training. It will also need to be part of her new home routine. She is friendly with other dogs but, after spending her first 2 years of life with an older dog that bullied her, she does prefer a calm and polite doggie pal. She sometimes instigates play but is usually just happy having chilled out dogs to hang out with.
Stevie can get worried about a lot of neighbourhood noise and is best suited to a home in a quiet location with a secure yard. She is fantastic with kids but she does feed off their energy levels and currently would be best suited to a less busy home that does not have children. (Visiting children would not be an issue.)
Stevie has kicked some goals by having a really good routine in place for her. It will be important to establish this in her new home as well. She is looking for an experienced owner. Ideally familiar with the traits of the Border Collie breed, and able to help her continue to breakdown and redirect these learned behaviours.
If this sounds like you, please lodge an application and we will chat with suitably matched homes about beautiful Stevie girl and her quirks!
***Stevie is located in Victoria....

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
