About Harriet
Hi everyone!! I’m Harriet!!
I’m a 15 week old Kelpie x girl. I’m very clever and confident and I’m also lots of fun!
My foster mum says I ‘have to address the elephant in the room’ before I tell you anymore about myself. I don’t really know what that means but I think it’s got something to do with what she calls my ‘Bat Ears’. She also says I must be the long lost cousin of cousin of Dobby the House Elf. Well, my answer to her is Shhhush Foster Mum, I’m just a baby and all my bits and bobs are growing at different speeds but one day they will all catch up to my giant ears!
I’ve been having such a great time in foster care. I love playing with my 2 big Kelpie foster brothers. They are so much fun!! I run and wrestle with them but I also listen to them when they tell me off for being too excited. You must always respect your elders.
I love to learn new things. I know how to sit and sometimes I get a treat when I do it really well. I’m a fan of having a nap in my crate. I have a snoooooze during the day and quietly play with my toy if I’m not quite ready to nod off. Foster Mum says she doesn’t hear a peep from me overnight. I’m toilet trained and learning how to walk on a lead.
I’m really excited to meet my forever fam!! I’d love it if you were familiar with my breed and knew all the tricks to keeping my busy mind and body active and stimulated. I hope that you will teach me lots of new things because I love learning and want to please you. I have my paws crossed that you have a big bro or sis for me that I can learn from and run and play with. Most of all I really hope that you like snuggles and puppy kisses because I’m real good at both!!
If you think you have room for me - and my ears - in your home and heart please email my foster mum. I can’t read (duh!!) but she said she would tell me everything you say in your letter.
Love & Licks
xx

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
