Meet Ark,
Ark might seem very shy at first, carefully observing the world with his big, curious eyes. He’s not the type to dive headfirst into playtime - he’s more of a "let me think about it first" kind of kitten. But give him a little time and a lot of love, and you’ll uncover his true self: a pro cuddle bug!
While toys might be a bit too much for him, Ark adores affection. Head scratches? Yes, please! Belly rubs? He won’t say no! Snuggles? Absolutely! Once he trusts you, he will happily seek you out, purring like a tiny trooper and melting into your arms for love and attention.
If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle soul who would rather curl up in your lap than chase a toy mouse, Ark is your guy!
Ark would be suitable for most homes. He would make a great mate for kids and is open to meet children of any age as long as they are understanding of his needs.
Just like all kittens, Ark would love a cat tree to climb on and scratch, and when he's more confident, an assortment of toys to play with. He should be fed kitten food multiple times a day to ensure that he grow up big and strong. Ark is already litter trained, but it’s best to show him where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents.
If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure that they have a slow & controlled introduction.

Recovered Cat Flu: Historically cat flu has had a negative reputation and can often deter people from adopting; but you wouldn’t actually be able to tell a recovered cat flu cat from a non-cat flu cat. The truth is that many cat flu cats will live happy, healthy, long lives in their new home. So, what is it? Cat flu is caused by a virus. Humans can’t catch it, but other cats can; but only if the cat is showing flu symptoms. Stressful situations like desexing, or a dramatic change in environment can lead to a recovered cat experiencing cat flu again, but this is usually short lived and rarely requires medical intervention. Most cats will recover on their own providing their vaccines are up to date.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.

The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
