We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Romy sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

Romy is the ultimate cuddle connoisseur. This charming boy has a soft spot for chin scratches, head pats, and anyone willing to dish out affection. Whether you're a familiar face or someone he’s meeting for the first time, Romy’s warm personality shines through—he’ll greet you with a gentle purr and may even use his paw to politely request more pats. With his sociable nature and cheeky charm, it’s hard not to fall in love.
Affectionate and fun-loving, Romy fits in effortlessly with other pets, having happily shared his space with both cats and small dogs. He’s patient, playful, and has never met a creature he didn’t want to befriend. Romy's intelligent too—he knows his scratching post from your couch, settles right into his bed, and picks up routines in no time. His low-maintenance vibe paired with his loving spirit makes him a true joy to be around.
Romy lives life at a gentle pace. He’s an early riser for breakfast, enjoys lounging the day away, and throws in a few play sessions or zoomies when the mood strikes. He’s a bit food-focused (hence his delightfully round belly), and will remind you with a gentle nudge when it’s time for his twice-daily gravy-based meals. His ideal home would be indoors only, where he can continue living the relaxed, love-filled life he thrives in.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
