LOUISE - A GENTLE SOUL LOOKING FOR A SAFE HAVEN
Louise is a quiet and affectionate 9-year-old lady who has been through a lot. She was found seemingly abandoned, living around the local Dan Murphy's and frequenting Coles every night at closing time-perhaps relying on the kindness of workers to keep her fed.
Though she seems to long for companionship, she was too scared to let anyone get too close. Now, in foster care, she's slowly learning that people can be trusted.
What You Should Know About Louise:
Timid but loving - Louise is still learning that people are 'safe' and will need a patient home to help her build confidence.
More about naps than play - She prefers snuggles over toys and would thrive with a calm, like-minded older cat.
Food is the way to her heart - Treats and meals have been key in gaining her trust.
" Seeks comfort in her own way - When cuddled, she instinctively buries her face, as if trying to hide and feel secure.
*¿ A true sweetheart - Despite everything she's been through, Louise has never shown aggression, even when she needed a bath upon rescue (though bathing isn't recommended unless necessary).
feels safe and secure.
Louise is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. If you have a soft spot for a gentle soul who just needs a little extra patience and love, Louise could be the perfect companion for you.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
