Snowy

I have no idea how we still have this gorgeous little soul available for adoption. Snowy is hands down one of the most beautiful cats we've ever had the pleasure of looking after.

She's very sweet, very affectionate, very social, very loving, very gentle and absolutely adores human company. She has a beautiful personality that would brighten up absolutely any household.

Snowy was well loved by her previous owner but sadly they had a change in living situation and found themselves in the sad position where they could no longer give her the life that she deserved. So they reached out to us to find her a new home. She comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.

Snowy LOOOOOOVES being around people and will always be in the mood for a pat and a cuddle. She's also the ultimate snuggler who will curl up on your lap while you're watching TV and will snuggle up in bed with you and keep you warm at night. She is literally a fluffy white ball of affection.

When she's not being incredibly adorable she also love's exploring the outside world. Snowy has always lived in homes where she has outdoor access and she loves the freedom to be able to go outside and soak up the sunshine when she's in the mood. But she never goes far. She's the type of cat that will hang out near by while you hang out the washing or potter in the garden.

Snowy is also trained to walk on a lead and harness and loves to go for a stroll around with her foster mum. Although she's a petite little thing and could probably fit in your hand bag.

In the evening she can become quite playful and will often zoom around the house for an hour or so before finding a nice comfortable spot on your lap to relax. She loves her fishing rod toys, balls, laser pointers and anything else that she can chase around and get up to mischief with.

Snowy has really blossomed since arriving in a foster home with no other pets, so we would ideally like to find her a pet-free household so that she can have her new families attention all to herself. But that said, she is a very social little butterfly and does generally get on well with other cats. She is also great with young kids.

Snowy is approximately 9 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
